Coordinator Class Dashboard

The Class Dashboard opens with the Student Progress table, giving you a quick snapshot of your students' performance. From there, you can effortlessly explore other functionalities and tools.

From the Coordinator Dashboard, to access a class, simply click on the arrow next to the class name and select Go to Class.

Classes displayed in purple indicate that related data, such as student USI, student enrolment, school change requests, and assessments to be marked, require review and additional information or editing.

Then, you will be taken to the Coordinator Class Dashboard. The default screen is the Student Progress table, but you can easily navigate through the different areas.

Key Functionality

Click on this area to navigate between classes at your school. This lets you quickly bounce between classes without needing to return to the Dashboard screen each time.

3. Student Progress Tab 

The Student Progress tab provides key details on the progression of Students in the specific class.

In this area, you have an overview of Student’s progression throughout each of the units being delivered. This is an identical screen to what Trainers see in the Student Progress area.

4. Training Plans Tab

The Trainer Plans tab contains some key forms and documents per Student

 

In the Training Plans tab, you will have access to view the following files per Student:

  • Training and Assessment Strategy download button: This PDF list contains essential information, including: School, Course, Start Date, and End Date. Additionally, it includes two important pieces of information: Qualification Details, Teaching & Learning Strategy, Facilities, Equipment & Resources, Support Services, Delivery & Assessment, Industry Consultation, Course Outcomes, Quality Assurance, Hours per Week Summary and Customized Delivery Schedule.
  • Enrolment form: this is a copy of the Student’s submitted enrolment form with IVET.
  • Training Plan: this is a PDF list of the classes the Student is enrolled in, units that they have completed, the training period and a copy of their username and password. Learning Support Plan: this is a copy of the Student’s Learner Support Plan (if applicable), which will list any additional support the Trainer is going to provide the Student during the training period.
  • PRT: this is a copy of the Pre-Training Review questionnaire that Students completed during their enrolment. It has details on what their interest is in this course and how they would grade themselves on certain subject areas.
  • LLN Assessment: this is a copy of the Student’s complete language, literacy and numbers assessment.  
  • Monthly Support: this will be a copy of the completed support files actioned by the Trainer, and will only appear where Students require additional learning support.

5. Students Tab

The Students tab includes several important features. One key feature is the Invite Student button, which allows you to invite students to your class. Please click on the link below for more details How to Invite Students to Enroll into a Class.

Next, you will see a yellow message line related to the student’s USI number if there is an error, such as a mismatched name or date of birth, an invalid USI, or a missing USI. 

To update the student’s USI number and information, simply click on the yellow circle with an exclamation mark in the "USI number" section.

In the information panel displayed below, you can now update student information yourself. The options include:

1. Name

2. Date of Birth, and

3. USI number

After making the necessary changes, click the Update button.

You can quickly transfer between your Coordinator and Trainer account by clicking the Trainer Dashboard button located in the upper right corner. Note that this is only available for Coordinators who hold a Dual Coordinator-Trainer account.

For accounts designated for Coordinators only, the interface will be displayed as shown below.
